Move with us

Discover the different ways we support your movement, wellbeing, and personal goals.

Group Classes

Our group classes consist of a maximum of eight participants per class. This allows us to ensure high-quality service and supervision of each individual. Also, it gives us the opportunity to cater to individual requirements and personal conditions. The studio holds enough equipment to allow our instructors to involve all pilates techniques in the group classes.

The advantage of group classes are the benefit of the many. You can motivate and inspire each other and enjoy being part of a community. Group spirit is always uplifting and maybe, you even make new friends.
*Please note that classes are subject to cancellation if there are less than 3 participants. If a class you are signed up for is cancelled, you will be notified via email 18 hours before the start of class.

REHABILITATION PILATES

REHABILITATION

Private classes are the best choice if you have specific conditions or chronic pains that require our full attention.

Pilates can be used for rehabilitation after an injury or operation. The rehabilitation program will focus on a specific muscle group while still keeping the entire system in mind. We will help you build up strength in the affected area, as well as regaining coordination and confidence in the entire system to recreate a natural flow in your movement.

*Disclaimer: We are not physiotherapists, and we recommend you discuss taking private Pilates classes with your doctor, to make sure this is the right choice for you.

Nervous system work

A hands-on Approach to Nervous System RegulatioN

Our nervous system work focuses on how the body and nervous system react to stress, tension, and past experiences. Sometimes the body holds protective patterns — like tightness, bracing, or a “freeze” response — even long after the original stress has passed. When this happens, movement can feel limited or uncomfortable, not because the muscles are weak, but because the nervous system is still signalling danger.

Nervous system work uses gentle, hands-on techniques and mindful movement to help the body feel safe again, so these patterns can slowly release. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace psychological treatment — instead, it supports the body side of healing and can complement traditional therapy.

This type of work can be helpful if you:

  • feel “stuck” in certain movements
  • experience chronic tension that doesn’t improve with regular exercise
  • want to understand your body’s responses to stress
  • are recovering from injury and feel your system is still holding protective patterns
  • want to feel more grounded, calm, and connected during movement

Nervous system work can be included in private sessions. If you're curious about whether it might support you, feel free to contact us directly.

I-Train

In the new year, we will be launch our self-training program, which will allow members, who have attended 10 or more group reformer classes at Serratonin Pilates, to practice reformer Pilates independently and on their own schedule.

The I-Train studio at Hardstrasse 24 (across the street from the main studio) is equipped with 4 reformers, 1 chair, 1 trapeze cadillac, 1 pedipull, a Ballet / Pilates barre and space for up to 8 mats. Currently, you can email us to book your timeslot, but soon you will be able to do this through our online schedule! Stay tuned.

Massage

At Serratonin, we see rest and recovery as essential parts of holistic wellbeing. Alongside movement and somatic work, massage offers the body a chance to release tension, restore balance, and recharge.

Our relaxing deep tissue massage combines gentle, rhythmic pressure with focused techniques that ease muscle strain and support the nervous system. It can help reduce stress, soften long-held tension, and leave you feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded in your body.

You can book a massage through our online schedule. If the weekly slot doesn’t suit you, feel free to email us — we’ll do our best to arrange a time that works.
